What Does BHanies Mean
Many of you have asked what the word 'Bhanie' means or why we spell it the way we do?
What Bhanie means to us is: Sister
Bhanies pronounced (Bay-knees) orginally spelt “Bhanini or Bahini”
Growing up, we often would hear our grandmothers, aunts, and cousins use the term “Bhaini or Bahini” when speaking to another woman. This term was often used with a friend, a distant family member, or a lady at the grocery store. We saw it as a sign of endearment and respect.
Throughout the years, we have adopted the term Bhanies (the way we like to spell it ) and used it when referring to our cousins and friends in a loving and playful way.
Brew Bhanies is an ode to our roots, but with a fun and modern spin!
This is for the Bhanies who love connecting and celebrating each other, over a brew or two.
Here's to Bhaniehood!
